Mind, Body and Soul is weekly healthy living programme, ranging from circuit training, noncontact boxing & mixed martial arts, weight training and also advice on following a healthy dietary programme.

The centre based project, which also has a gym, has the latest range of weight training and boxing equipment. This is one of the most popular activities in the centre. The Mind, Body and Soul Project is to teach the users a number of topics including nutrition, cardiovascular and weight training exercises, circuit training and non-

contact boxing/martial arts. These sessions help to develop key skills such as self discipline, controlled aggression, and motivation and boost young peoples’ overall image and confidence, but more importantly it is part of living a healthy lifestyle. Gym members were also encouraged to gain accreditation through the Duke of Edinburgh’s award which is a great way of recognising the hard work and dedication that our members put in. We constantly strived to add diversity and new excitement at the gym and one of the ways we have done this is by the recent introduction of boxercise sessions which is proving to be extremely popular with everyone!
